Love Nature and WWF-Malaysia Work Together to Help Save Tigers

As we count down to Global Tiger Day on 29 July 2020, Love Nature, a family-friendly wildlife and nature brand with online and linear platforms reaching 200 million homes worldwide, and WWF-Malaysia are working together to build public support for tiger conservation – by calling on everyone to pledge with them to save tigers from extinction at wwf.org.my/lovenature

There are now less than 200 Malayan tigers left in Malaysia. WWF-Malaysia is supporting the Malaysian Government to establish long-term, sustainable solutions to protect our Malayan tigers and secure a future for all the biodiversity in the Belum-Temengor Forest Complex. Although we have taken important steps in the journey to save our Malayan tigers, more must be done. Without major, imminent intervention, Malaysia’s national icon could be extinct within two years.

As part of our Global Tiger Day 2020 initiatives, Love Nature will be airing a Global Tiger Day Special on 29 July, 7pm (GMT+8) on channel 502, Unifi TV. The show will feature one of the most iconic animals on Earth - the Bengal Tiger, which stalks the jungles of India. There will also be exciting tiger content on both organisations’ social media to allow audiences to connect with and understand tigers better.

To find out more about the pledge and the Global Tiger Day Special, please visit our tiger pledge page and tune in on 29 July 2020 on channel 502, Unifi TV. We have attached the press release for your further reference, and we would also like to thank you for your continued support of our conservation efforts. Please do not hesitate to contact us should you require further information.
